As we all know, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were running a very hot and heavily modified Samsung TouchWiz software. This version of TouchWiz is called DPC Watchdog Violation and it interferes with the operation of your device.

Dealing with problems in your computer systems can be a headache. You have to deal with the problem, get it fixed, and then get the system fixed again if it breaks. But what if you can’t get any support from the company you bought the PC from, or their support is of no help, or they just don’t want to help you?

DPC watchdog violations are errors in the operating system kernel that are supposed to prevent programs from running out of their allocated memory. However, these errors are very common, and are commonly encountered by Windows users. Fortunately, there are some solutions to prevent these errors, which are explained below.

Although Windows is a well-made and reliable operating system, it is not immune to bugs and malfunctions that users may encounter from time to time. While most of these problems are accompanied with an error number and an explanation, it is at best perplexing for the average user.

This page discusses the DPC Watchdog Violation, its causes, and how to resolve the issue.

Watchdog refers to the bug checker that monitors and records your Windows applications and PC performance. DPC stands for Deferred Procedure Call.

A BSoD may be caused by a mistake in this procedure, and in severe instances, your PC may be unable to start. Hardware misconfigurations, software incompatibilities, obsolete drivers in general, and damaged system files are all possible causes of the problem.

Here are a few solutions you may attempt to see whether the DPC Watchdog violation is resolved.

All new hardware should be removed.

To begin, switch off your computer and disconnect any new devices or peripherals you may have installed. Then, verify whether your computer starts up normally.

If you’re uninstalling several devices, do it one at a time, restarting your computer after each one to isolate the problematic hardware.

All new software should be removed.

This error may be caused by both incompatible hardware and improper software. If you’ve recently installed any new applications, try uninstalling them to see if it fixes the issue.

If you’re uninstalling several applications, do it one at a time and reboot your computer each time to isolate the problematic software.

Start the Event Viewer.

To isolate a problem on your PC, open the event viewer and look for any errors, warnings, or alerts that may appear, suggesting the true cause of the problem.

By hitting the Windows key and looking for it in the start menu, you may start the Even Viewer. Check the System folder for any problems or warnings after the program is launched.

Drivers for your SSD should be updated.

This issue may also be caused by out-of-date SSD firmware.

Step 1: To enter the quick access menu, press Windows key + X and choose Device Manager.

Step 2: Right-click the problematic device and choose Update drivers from the context menu.
